Rio Serrano : riding : Lago Toro

2-3 hours

From the campsite we head out towards Puerto Natales on the gravel road. The first part of the ride on pampas is ideal for those who want to canter or gallop!

Going along the road for about 1km you will see breathtaking views of the Rio Serrano area, the Torres del Paine, Los Cuernos and the Grey Glacier.

After a short time we take a small track off the road and head upwards over hilly scrubland covered with Calafate berries. Here you are likely to see a condor or two soaring overhead.

Climbing up the track we reach the viewpoint for the spectacular vista of Lago Toro. This lake is vivid blue and is backed by views of mountains and a particularly breathtaking view of the Torres massif.

After a 10 minute stop to catch our breath and take some photos, we head back down the track with plenty of opportunities to pause to admire the stunning views and have photographs with friends and family!
