Rio Serrano : hiking : introduction

There are many routes starting from Rio Serrano campsite from gentle strolls to longer, all-day walks. The immediate area is flat pampas which follows the beautiful Serrano river with spectacular views of the Paine Massif in the distance.

This area is not heavily populated, or touristy, and hence little travelled by foot. The locals here tending to use horses as the preferred method of transport! Although not a common pastime with the locals the area surrounding the campsite affords lots of great walks, all immediately accessible.
